Schumacher Construction History

For over 14 years Schumacher Construction was a successful custom home builder in the Portland, Oregon area. Like many other successful builders, Bob Schumacher started out as a framer and finish work carpenter.

Schumacher Construction began building custom homes in Sunriver, then Bend and soon established itself as one of Central Oregon's finest builders. Over the last 30 years, Schumacher Construction has built in Central Oregon with a team of true professionals and craftsmen with an eye for balance and precision, proven to deliver consistent quality. Schumacher custom homes each have their own personality, and are thoughtfully designed. You can find Schumacher homes throughout most of Central Oregon including; Sunriver, Caldera Springs, Tetherow, The Highland, Broken Top, Brasada, Awbrey Glen, River Rim, and throughout many other neighborhoods in Bend.

Schumacher Construction is now a second generation Builder striving to run the company with the same dedication and attention to detail as always. Honesty and commitment, along with having fun throughout the building process, are the cornerstones of the company and remain the keys to our success.

Builder Profile

MY NAME IS jacob Schumacher

Along with my brothers, I have been on job sites my entire life.  Working under the different trades growing up has helped me transition into a well rounded general contractor.  I graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Economics and minor in Business.  This education has helped me keep our clients projects on time and on budget.  If you are not a Duck we can still get along as we have built for Beavers, Cougs, Huskies, and Trojans in the past! Woodworking is one of my main hobbies and helps me with the little details that we hope you notice when walking through our homes.  Wither it is a custom project or a spec, no two homes will ever be treated or looked at the same.
